The March West Leg Two

Headed Home - Day Two

June 5th

Serpent River to White Lake Provincial Campground ON

6hrs and 533kms

We drove up and thru Thunder Bay on our way west.  The scenery is beautiful along the shoreline of Lake Superior with interesting stops along the way.

Easy access on and off the highway, good parking.

Smoked Lake Trout For Sale!

We bought 2 large nice pieces for $6.00 each! 

We saw a few of these Bombardier Can Am Spyders along the way

We saw 3 Bears along the way, oh and two Rabbits, but no Moose!

Second night was spent at the Ontario Provincial Part  

No mosquitos or black flies!

The travel times were a little longer than we expected; this was due to the amount of construction zones we had to transit.  Lots of infrastructure projects happening with just about every bridge being worked on and four lanes being built where it can!

Unfortunately we could not take as much time on the drive home as Craig's back pain and upcoming medical appointments kept us from dawdling along.
