Leg Five: Straight Drive from Ridgecrest to Palm Desert CA 3 hours 300 kilometers

| The direct route to Palm Desert |
We finished up our tire work in Ridgecrest and were on our way to visit friends in Palm Desert. But while at the Tire Man inRidgecrest it was mentioned that we should take drive over to Gorman, CA; this was the time of year to view the California Poppies in blossom through this valley.
So, we headed west to drive east, figure that one out!

| We came across another solar farm. This one was huge, going on for kilometres! |

The drive detour we took to view the spring flowers was well worth the extra miles we put on. This is an easy drive, well until you start getting into the more populated areas.

And the bonus of the trip was our tires were holding air and no more problems!
